Crypto & Blockchain

Blockchain is a distributed digital ledger that records transactions across a network of computers in a way that's transparent, immutable, and resistant to modification. Each 'block' contains a batch of transactions and cryptographically links to the previous block, forming a chain. Public blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum) are open to anyone; private/permissioned blockchains restrict access. The technology enables peer-to-peer transactions without trusted intermediaries — banks, escrow agents, governments. Beyond cryptocurrency, blockchain has been explored for supply chain tracking, identity management, and voting systems with varying degrees of success.
