1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Business Skill Forge (“BSF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of businessskillforge.com (the “Site”) and any associated services, courses, e-books, templates, calculators, converters, newsletters, downloads, and apps (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using any part of the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if (a) you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, (c) you are not barred from using the Services under law or any other applicable law, and (d) you agree to use the Services in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3. Description of the Services

• Free calculators and converters. Browser-based computational tools that perform calculations on inputs you provide. Inputs are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to BSF servers unless explicitly stated.
• Courses. Self-paced video, text, quiz, and worksheet content delivered through Tutor LMS or a successor learning platform. Some courses are free; others require purchase.
• E-books, templates, and digital downloads. Files delivered electronically after purchase.
• Newsletter and content. Articles, guides, and email content covering finance, accounting, tax planning, business operations, and related subjects.
• Premium tools. Subscription-based access to AI-powered calculators, simulators, and advanced features.

4. No Financial, Tax, Legal, or Investment Advice

This is the single most important paragraph in this document. Read it twice.

Business Skill Forge is an educational publisher and software tool provider. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, CPA firm, law firm, or insurance agent. Nothing on the Site, in our calculators, in our courses, or in our newsletter is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Outputs from our calculators are illustrative estimates produced by formulas applied to the inputs you provide; they are not predictions of actual future results, not guarantees, and not a substitute for the advice of a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.

You agree that any decision you make in reliance on information from the Site is your own, and that you will consult a qualified professional (such as a CPA, CFA, CFP, attorney, or licensed insurance broker) before making material financial decisions, particularly those involving taxes, retirement, investments, real estate, or insurance.

5. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep tax brackets, contribution limits, formulas, and example numbers up to date for the 2026 tax year and beyond. Tax law, IRS guidance, market data, and regulatory rules change frequently and without notice. We do not warrant that any information on the Site is current, accurate, or complete at the moment you view it. You should always verify time-sensitive information against the IRS (irs.gov), the SSA (ssa.gov), the SEC (sec.gov), or another authoritative primary source before acting on it.

6. Accounts and Course Enrollment

Some features (such as enrolling in a course or making a purchase) require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; keep your account credentials confidential; promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account; and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@businessskillforge.com.

7. Purchases, Pricing, and Subscriptions

All prices are listed in Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change; the price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to that purchase. Sales tax, VAT, or GST may be added based on your billing address. Payment is processed by our payment processors (Stripe and/or PayPal), each subject to its own terms of service.

For subscription plans (such as Premium Tools): you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the interval shown at signup. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not receive a partial refund for unused time except as described in the Refund Policy.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the product purchased. See our Refund Policy for full details, including the 14-day satisfaction guarantee on paid courses and the 30-day money-back guarantee on annual subscriptions.

9. License to Use the Services

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial educational use, except that paid course materials and templates you purchase may be used for your personal or internal business use as described on the product page.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, video, calculator code, course materials, and the design and arrangement of the Site — is owned by Business Skill Forge or its licensors and is protected by and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not (a) reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works of any content on the Site without our prior written permission, (b) use any data mining, scraping, or similar automated extraction tools, (c) frame or mirror any part of the Site without our consent, or (d) remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

You may quote up to 200 words from a blog post or guide with proper attribution and a link back to the source page. For longer excerpts, course excerpts, or commercial use, email contact@businessskillforge.com.

11. User Content and Submissions

If you submit content to the Site — including comments, forum posts, course feedback, or any messages sent via the contact form — you grant Business Skill Forge a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to grant this license, and that your submission does not infringe any third-party rights.

12. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers, including by introducing malware, denial-of-service traffic, or other harmful code;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or to user accounts;
• Use the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam);
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect information about other users;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any calculator or premium tool;
• Use the Services to deliver personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice to third parties as if it were generated by BSF.

13. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

The Site contains affiliate links and references to third-party products and services. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website, product, or service, even when accessed via our affiliate links.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CALCULATOR OR TOOL IS FREE OF DEFECTS OR THAT ANY RESULT WILL BE ACCURATE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL BUSINESS SKILL FORGE, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BSF IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Business Skill Forge and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) your reliance on any output from a calculator or any educational content in lieu of professional advice.

17. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

17.1 Informal first. We’d much rather solve a problem than litigate it. Before filing any formal action, you agree to first contact us at contact@businessskillforge.com with a description of the issue and a proposed resolution. We will respond within 30 days and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith.

17.2 Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days, you and BSF agree that any claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, or, at your option, via telephone or video conference. The arbitrator’s award is final and binding.

17.3 Class-action waiver. You agree that any arbitration or litigation will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action. If a court finds this class-action waiver unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement in this section is void.

17.4 Exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights, and either party may bring a qualifying small-claims-court action in lieu of arbitration. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of your jurisdiction where those rights cannot be waived.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising under or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence will continue to apply where required.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. Sections 4, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20 survive termination.

20. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, Financial Disclaimer, and any policy referenced from this document, constitute the entire agreement between you and BSF.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, governmental action, internet failures, or third-party service outages.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at least 14 days before they take effect, with the new “Last reviewed” date shown in the header above. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
